How to play

  1. Pick a table and size

Choose a times table, or mix them, and how many pairs to play with.

  2. Turn two cards

Each turn, flip two cards. A fact like 7 × 6 matches its answer, 42.

  3. Remember the rest

Cards that do not match turn back over. Remember where they were.

  4. Clear the board

Match every pair. Fewer moves and a faster time beat your record.

Questions and answers

How does Memory Match help with times tables?
To match a pair you have to know that 7 × 6 and 42 belong together, so every match is a fact recalled from memory.
Which board size should I choose?
Start with 6 pairs. When you can clear it in under 15 moves, try 8 and then 10 pairs.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Yes. Every card is a button: press Tab to move between cards and Enter or Space to turn one over.
